Seattle Children's Museum

In an attempt to get away from the 101 degree forecast (which actually ended up being 103) we went inside to the Children's Museum. It was a blast. The kids actually played on their own most of the time and wanted to. It seems like in past adventures they need help or want us to play with them. This time they played a lot on their own. What a treat for us all!! This is the kids building a house and you can tell my the look on Emma's face they had a little conflict during the construction of this creation.
This was one of Owen's favorites since he is totally in to motorcycles. He kept going back to his motorcycle and zooming around.

Something you don't see very often, a man in the kitchen! Owen was cooking up cookies for his mama while she relaxed and read children's books to herself. The other thing you don't see very often is Owen sharing and he did quite well during our entire visit at the museum. Then he promptly fought with his sister in the car on the way home. The ride home was long as there was a big fire on the medium between N and S bound I-5 around 200th. What would normally take around 45 minutes took 1 hour and 15 minutes. Thank goodness for the DVD player in the car and AC!
