A day at the zoo

We went to the zoo today and had a great time. No rain and most of the animals were out and about. We saw the tiger relaxing, the tapir running around the enclosure, and the monkeys were very active. We were very happy at the zoo. The kids loved the new animal avenue play area and we took a ride on the carousel.

This is the first posting to the blog and I don't really know what to write. We found out today that Emma will be in half day kindergarten and we were really hoping for all day kindergarten, but due to the larget need for students who are struggling we got pushed out. But she is in a class with her friend and a really good teacher. School starts for me in a couple days as well and I am looking forward to a new challenge. Scott is still being the best business office manager there is. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a lot of fun...stay tuned.
